Ralinda Wimbush

Ralinda Wimbush, originally from Annapolis, MD, is a dynamic leader dedicated to driving transformational change and making a positive impact on her community. Through her organization, she creates spaces in nature for Black individuals to connect, observe, and heal.
Ralinda earned her Bachelor of Science in Physics and Biology from Morgan State University before embarking on a career as a Space Systems Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Center. With a profound love for nature and people, Ralinda is a passionate advocate for environmental change. She focuses on reestablishing the relationship between humans and their environment through engaging and effective programming. Her initiatives aim to build community trust and foster engagement around local parks, waterways, education, and community events, raising awareness about the need for a sustainable planet. As a member of the BIMS team, Ralinda is excited to bring her dedication and expertise to further positively impact and serve the BIMS community, its members, and allies. |
